Here in the United States of America, you can grow up to be anything
you want. Some youngsters aspire to be the president, some to be sports
or movie stars and then there is the FFA- The Future Farmers of America.
Back in the day , the blue corduroy jacket meant a lot. It meant you
were going to feed a nation, that you were going to get up before the
sun and work the land. Those amber waves of grain didn't get there by
themselves- the Future Farmers of America put them there. Here's your
chance to have an emblem of one of America's hardest working classes.
This FFA jacket is in great shape. It once belonged to "Rich"
who belonged to the Lower Dauphin chapter of the FFA. It has the big
patch on the back and a little one on the front. All the lettering is
chainstitched and that along with the look of the tag make me think
this is a 50s jacket. However, the FFA didn't change their style much
through the years, so it might not be. There are no boo boos that I
could find. The size is 38.
