Black Jersey Dress w/ nailheads & drape
I would love this
40s black wool jersey dress even with out the nail heads or the "sequins".
It has short dolman sleeves with a gusset, a great slightly scooped
neckline and a shirred front panel to give the skirt a lovely (and forgiving)
swing. But of course, it is the metal that makes this dress so special.
It has a very ornate design around the neck that fades to scattered
"sequins" all over the rest of the dress. I found one tiny
pinhole near the right armhole gusset, which I repaired. Other than
that , the dress is perfect. Measurements are as follows: Bust-38",
waist -28", hip-38", length from waist to hem- 25 1/2".
